Wide Mode Example
A wider content canvas with no right-side headings panel.
This page uses mode: "wide", which removes the right-side headings panel and gives the content more room.
What changes
- The docs shell stays in place
- The table of contents column is hidden
- The content area has more usable width
Good fit
Use wide for overview pages, dense reference pages, screenshots, and content that benefits from a broader canvas.
Overview pages
Wide mode works well when you want a standard docs page, but the default content column feels too narrow.
Visual content
It is a good fit for image-heavy pages and side-by-side cards that need extra room.

Compare it
If you want to remove the sidebar entirely, compare this page against Center Mode. If you want to keep the sidebar but open the canvas further, compare it with Frame Mode.
